<p>The clamping mechanism of a file includes a baseplate (1) and a pair of spikes (11, 12) firmly connected to it as well as a pair of rotating spikes (21, 22) which can be pressed against the aforementioned spikes (11, 12) thanks to the shifting of the corresponding control lever (3). The aim of the invention is to provide that despite minimum modifications to the existing mechanism the lever (3) even in the open position of the specified spike pairs (11, 12; 21, 22) is in such a position that the user can browse through the papers clamped by the mechanism for the held papers, while maintaining the perfect operation which the existing mechanism is famous for. According to the invention there is in order to avoid expensive and time-consuming modification of tools the baseplate (1) modified only by the enhancement of an additional carrier (130) with rotating point, while the handle (3) consists of a controlling lever (32) which is as a two- legged oscillating lever attached to the specified rotating point (310) and slotted lever (30) fixed at the rotating point (31) on the existing carrier (13) and on one side connected by links to the specified lever (32) of the handle (3), while on the other side it is equipped with a control adapter (302) which is adapted to interact with the intermediate section (25) of the clamping assembly (2) which is by a spring pressured in the direction away from the baseplate (1) and firmly connected to the movable spikes (21, 22).</p> |
