Beta crystalline form of ivabradine hydrochloride (I) having specific X-ray diffraction profile of: line position (Bragg angle 2 theta, expressed in degrees) of 6.8-29.3; altitude of line (expressed in blows) of 121-6141; surface of line (expressed in blowsxdegrees) of 16-562; width of the lines with mid-height (expressed in degrees) of 0.0502-0.6691; and inter-reticular distance (expressed in [deg]A) of 3.049-13.019 is new.
