<p>Aqueous, killed poliomyelitis vaccines contain, as preservative, myristyl-g -picolinium halides (especially the chloride) in a concentration in grm./ml. in the range 1 : 5000 to 1 : 80000 (preferably 1 : 20000 to 1 : 40000). The vaccines may contain any or all of types I, II and III poliomyelitis virus and may additionally contain one or more of diphtheria, tetanus and pertussis antigens.</p> |
