<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power supply control system which suppress power consumption of a power supply (battery) by abnormal current and power consumption of the power supply by itself, by controlling its operation, according to the opening and the closing state of a battery cover. <P>SOLUTION: The power supply control system comprises a power circuit which supplies DC voltage output from a power supply portion which removably holds a battery to a load circuit; a first switching circuit for switching a power line for connecting the power supply portion and the power circuit between a connected state and a non-connected state; a first control means which detects the magnitude of the current in the first switch circuit, when it is operating in the normal mode and controls the operation of the first switch circuit, based on the detected magnitude of the current; and a second control means which makes the first controlling means operate in the normal mode, when it is detected that the battery cover is in an open state (sleep mode) and then makes it operate in the first control means in the sleep mode, after the magnitude of the current in the first switch circuit is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
