PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card connector and electronic equipment selectively loading a first card and a second card with the same length in an insertion and removal direction but with different shapes of electrode parts, and making positions of both rear-end parts agree with each other. SOLUTION: A slider 3 has a tip-contact part 38 for the second card to get in contact with, is positioned at a first loading position at loading of the first card, and is shifted to a second loading position at loading of the second card by being pressed by the same. A first contact 51 and a second contact 52 are fixed to the slider 3. A first contact end part 51a of the first contact 51 comes in contact with an electrode of the first card, and a second contact end part 51b comes in contact with a first conductive contact 21 in the case where the slider 3 is in the first loading position. A first contact end part 52a of the second contact 52 comes in contact with an electrode of the second card, and the second contact end part 51b comes in contact with a second conductive contact 22 in the case where the slider 3 is in the second loading position.
