PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the matter that the video image of moving video cannot be acquired efficiently in a skipped section when skip operation of moving video content is performed. SOLUTION: The reproducer realizes a thumbnail acquisition means for judging the content of a moving video in a section from a selected skip position to a predetermined position and acquiring the image of the moving video at a specific position (time) as a thumbnail, and an electronic screen configuration means for configuring an electronic screen by editing the thumbnail thus acquired as an image to be displayed on the electronic screen. When skip operation is performed during reproduction of the moving video content or during stoppage of reproduction, a control section judges the content of the moving video by using the thumbnail acquisition means and configures the thumbnail thus acquired so as to be displayed on the electronic screen by using the electronic screen configuration means.
