PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently heat a thermostatic chamber that rotates with a simple construction, by maintaining a container at a predetermined temperature. SOLUTION: A reaction table 19 with a plurality of cuvettes C mounted thereon is equipped with a heating system 200 below a cuvette wheel 193 that retains the cuvettes C and turns intermittently. The heating system 200 is equipped with a heater 220, a heating member 210 formed integrally with a heater block 230, which transfers heat generated by this heater 220 to the cuvette wheel 193; and a heater lifting and driving section 260. The heater lifting and driving section 260 separates the contacting surface 231 of the heater block 230 from the bottom of the cuvette wheel 193, by lowering the heating member 210, when the cuvette wheel 193 is rotated, and brings the contacting surface 231 of the heater block 230 in contact with the bottom of the cuvette wheel 193, by raising the heating member 210, at the rotation and stoppage of the cuvette wheel 193 turns rotational stopped.
