PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is not easy to confirm interface setting of transmission/reception function with an external unit after installation of a monitoring camera because the monitoring camera is installed on the top of a pole in many cases, and when the interface is set through communication with the external unit, it becomes impossible to recognize the setting if the setting is changed and communication is disabled although the interface setting can be recognized so long as the setting remains in a shipment state. SOLUTION: This television camera unit includes: display means for displaying interface setting of a transmission/reception function with an external apparatus, and display time setting means, wherein the display means can display at least the interface setting during a predetermined time set by the display time setting means from the power-on of the television camera unit.
