PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an interpolated image with less sense of incongruity when an imaging range moves between two images. SOLUTION: In a first step, data about a first image and data about a second image picked up after the first image at a state where the imaging range is moved so as to be partially overlapped with an imaging range of the first image are read in an operation part. In a second step, the operation part specifies an overlapped part and a non-overlapped part of the imaging ranges in the first and the second images, respectively. In a third step, the operation part generates an image in a first area corresponding to the overlapped part of the interpolated image for interpolating variation of an object between the first and the second images on the basis of variation of the image with the overlapped part between the first and the second images. In a fourth step, the operation part generates an image in a second area located at a moving destination of the imaging range to the first area of the interpolated image by segmenting the non-overlapped part of the second image.
