PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for a pneumatic tire capable of reducing dynamic unbalance, and improving durability. SOLUTION: Side wall rubber 17 of which the tensile product after vulcanization is 10,000 to 12,000 (MPa %) is attached to the outer side of a carcass ply 12 to enlarge the diameter of a molding drum 1. Thereafter, a belt layer 19 and tread rubber 18 of which the tensile product after vulcanization is 15,000 to 18,000 (MPa %) are attached to the outer side of an area of the carcass ply 12 corresponding to a crown to mold a raw tire G. Strip-like rubber members 21 of which each tensile product after vulcanization is 15,000 to 18,000 (MPa %) are pasted on a buttress portion B of the raw tire G to form annular projections 22. The vulcanization molding of the raw tire G is performed by using a mold, thereby manufacturing the pneumatic tire having projections on the buttress portion. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
