#CMT# #/CMT# The element e.g. locking element (5), has separately formed lamellas (11) that are stacked on each other along an axis (A). The lamellas are continuously connected with each other at respective connecting points e.g. laser weld joints (L), in an axial direction. Each lamella has a radially operative spring and/or an axially operative spring, which are provided as integrated supplementary functions and/or elements. Each lamella has a radial recess that is provided as a receiver for components. The lamellas have the same profile perpendicular to the axis. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Element for use as a locking element of a locking device, for cooperating with a two-way element i.e. fitting, in a locked condition of the locking device, and as a securing element e.g. catch piece and tensioning eccentric, that is secured in the locked condition of the locking device for fastening a vehicle i.e. motor vehicle, seat (all claimed) to a vehicle structure, and adjusting backrest inclination. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The element can be manufactured without deformation due to hardening. The lamellas are continuously connected with each other at the respective connecting points, in the axial direction, thus manufacturing the element as a high-strength component.
