<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication terminal for performing data communications with a specific user on the other side and preventing him or her from accessing at all times without requiring a user to register his or her information in the communication terminal beforehand, and to provide a communication method. <P>SOLUTION: The communication terminal is provided with a call communication means for establishing a call with other terminal through an IP network, a data communication means for performing data communication in parallel with the call communication, and an other party information acquisition means for acquiring information of the other party being connected.
