A compressed air operating type vacuum cleaner is provided to allow a user to reduce the time for make garbage storage empty as the garbage storage automatically discharges the garbage. A compressed air operating type vacuum cleaner comprises a storage tank(100) with the cylindrical form, an ejector(300) discharging air of the storage tank out to be under a vacuum condition, a switch(400), which are a plate member, opening and closing a discharge port of the storage tank and an iris(500) opening the discharge port by with the switch. The iris cancels the vacuum condition of the storage tank by closing a connecting part between the ejector and the storage tank in case the air inflow the storage tank from outside.
