PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connecting rod of an internal-combustion engine capable of preventing a bias of an oil film thickness in reference to an axis line direction of a crank pin. SOLUTION: In the connecting rod 1A of an internal-combustion engine with a large end part 4 rotatably interconnected by interposing a bearing 3 to the crank-pin 2a of a crank shaft 2, the large end part 4 is arranged in a near side to the bearing 2, while having a lower degree of elasticity than that of a base metal part 9, and possessing a low elastic modulus part 10 which runs out in the axis line Ax direction of the crank pin 2a and in the peripheral direction. The low elastic modulus part 10 is so composed that its thickness tx in the diametric direction in reference to the axis line direction is gradually enlarged to both sides from the central part.
