PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press die, wherein a workpiece is easily carried in and out, and high production rate is attained by constituting so that an arm for carrying-in and carrying-out of the workpiece does not interfere with a pad during carrying-in and carrying-out of the workpiece. SOLUTION: The press die comprises a lower die 2 and an upper die 1, which is provided with: a cutting (bending) edge 3; and a pad 4 which is vertically moved at a pad stroke PS and with which the workpiece is pressed to the lower die 2, wherein cams 8a, 8b which are moved forward and backward with respect to the pad 4 with hydraulic cylinders 7a, 7b and elevate the pad 4 at the pad stroke Ps are arranged on both sides of the pad 4 and, during carrying-in and carrying-out of the workpiece by using the workpiece carrying-in and carrying-out arm, the pad 4 is elevated and situated so that the workpiece carrying-in and carrying-out arm does not interfere with the pad 4 at the pad stroke Ps.
