PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyhedral crystal structure model, which is easy to assemble and allows intuitive understanding of the shape and geometric layout of a coordination polyhedron and a polyhedron cavity. SOLUTION: The crystal structure model of zincblende structure, antifluorite structure or the like is assembled by packing, into a cubic-shaped transparent casing, a coordination polyhedron part 5 showing a coordination polyhedron of regular terahedral shape with each central position of four negative ions disposed to have a closest packing structure as an apex, a cavity polyhedron part 6 showing a cavity of regular tetrahedral shape with each central position of four negative ions as an apex, a cavity polyhedron part 8 showing a cavity of regular octahedral shape with each central position of six negative ions as an apex, and the like.
