PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology to form an image having a portrait effect without complicating configuration of a digital camera system. SOLUTION: An imaging device 1 includes a zoom lens 2a, an optical system 2 having a correction lens 2b and a focus lens 2c, and an image sensor 3 which converts object light incoming through the optical system 2 to an electrical signal. The imaging device 1 images a blurred image in which blur is generated intentionally over the whole area by changing a relative positional relation between either of the zoom lens 2a, the correction lens 2b or the focus lens 2c and the image sensor 3, while imaging a normal image with no intentional blur. An image processor 50 forms a composite image having a non-blurred region with no intentional blur and a blurred region with intentional blur, by combining the normal image and the blurred image.
