PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head unit position adjustment mechanism of a line inkjet recorder, which adjusts highly precisely a position of a head unit. SOLUTION: Supporting sections 13 for mounting a head unit 10 are fixed with a fixing bolts 14 in a long groove section of a base plate. Position adjustment blocks are fitted in spaces between the supporting sections 13. Each position adjustment block is provided with an adjustment bolt and an adjustment pin for adjusting positions in an X and Y directions. In the position adjustment block, a coupling bolt 27 is provided for coupling and fixing a pivoting member 28 rotatably mounted to a pivoting pin 10a of the head unit 10. When a position adjustment in the rotation direction is made, the coupling bolt 27 is fixed so as to make the position adjustment, and otherwise the coupling bolt 27 is kept loosened.
