PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of conventional technology: it is necessary to "intentionally prepare specific information so as to specify data desired to be acquired"; and a dedicated procedure therefor is required. SOLUTION: This information retrieval system has master data, pattern data, and a totaling table as means so as to reduce burdens on both an inquirer and an answerer in time of answer extraction, to provide advise information to the inquirer, and to retrieve a just fitting answer, when performing information retrieval.
