PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hardware for extension allowing a worker to construct an extension structure without removing an upper story part on an existing side of a building and capable of ensuring required strength. SOLUTION: This hardware 7 for extension connects the existing side of the building with an extension side when extending the building. This hardware 7 for extension is provided with a horizontal connection plate 71 provided across a horizontal member 31 on the existing side and a horizontal member 11 on the extension side and a vertical connection plate 72 provided across a vertical member 32 on the existing side and a vertical member 12 on the extension side.
