PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To design a sensor which can be used to monitor an interface state in a fastener position between interface regions of layers of a structure, and between other corrosion start positions, and which can be installed during manufacture or after the manufacture of a transportation means. SOLUTION: A wireless corrosion detector 10 includes a surface acoustic wave (SAW) sensor tag 12. The SAW sensor tag has output ports 28, 30.
