#CMT# #/CMT# The pin (1) has a hollow pin axis (2), and a wire connection end (3) that is coaxially aligned to stop a wire to the hollow pin axis, where the pin is integrally formed from a stamped sheet metal. The pin is made of brass and stainless steel, and is formed for fixing in a plug bridge base plate by sealing and/or insert molding with a plastic composition. A hollow pin region is provided for the wire connection end with a protective unit for obstruction of the base plate mass penetration during the production of a plug bridge. The protective unit is integrally formed with the pin. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a hollow pin for a plug bridge. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Hollow pin for a plug bridge of a plug in a power line of an electrical device (all claimed), to provide a contact between electrically conducting wires of a power cord to energized contacts in a socket. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The coaxial alignment of wire connection end and the hollow pin axle without modifying and processing the plug bridge, enables processing of the plug bridge of different quality grades without any modification, an ideal time, and storage of different tools, so that the hollow pin for the plug bridge can be used in a favorable manner, and hence the hollow pin can be used for commercial applications.
