#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves receiving input signals using a microcontroller and providing actuating signals for ventilation of chambers of a single or dual acting pneumatic actuating drive (6). A position of an actuating unit with a rotating measuring system is indicated in a digital position controller (9). Setting area of the drive is completely driven during starting-up of the actuating drive (6), and the angular position acknowledged from the measuring system is recorded.
