A vehicle heating system is provided to carry out rapid heating of a vehicle room by using metallic alloys for hydrogen storage at the time of engine starting in winter time instead of using any combustion type heater as a heat source. First and second reactors(300,400) respectively stores first and second metallic alloys for hydrogen storage which react with hydrogen. First and second heat exchangers(310,410) respectively carry out heat exchange between first and second fluids and the first and second metallic alloys for hydrogen storage. A fuel cell(500) is mounted on a second fluid circulation loop(200) for generating electric energy by chemical reaction with hydrogen and carries out heat exchange between waste heat generated from the electric energy and the second fluid. A compressor(600) supplies the hydrogen from the second reactor to the first one after compression.
