<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hidden line display method and a hidden line display device, for displaying the vector data or tensor data of solid elements without generating erroneous recognition due to averaging or illusion resulted from extrapolation or interpolation. <P>SOLUTION: When the vector data or tensor data of analytic elements configured of a plurality of solid elements are subjected to hidden line processing and the result is displayed, vector data or the tensor data are displayed on each face of the solid elements.
