PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control technique for a diesel engine capable of suppressing increase in discharge amount of particulate matters such as unburned hydrocarbon and soot by fuel added by an exhaust fuel addition valve, compared to the case where only light oil is used as fuel.
SOLUTION: An ECU 100 sets a minimum operation exhaust temperature that is a lower limit of exhaust gas temperature allowing operation of the exhaust fuel addition valve 88, according to an estimated biofuel concentration. Thus, regardless of the biofuel concentration in fuel, the fuel added by the exhaust fuel addition valve 88 can be sufficiently vaporized by exhaust gas with temperature exceeding the minimum operation allowing exhaust gas temperature set in accordance with the biofuel concentration and can be made flow to an exhaust gas post-processing device 55. The fuel addition from the exhaust fuel addition valve 88 can suppress increase in the discharge amount of particulate matters (PM) such as unburned hydrocarbon (HC) and soot, compared to the case where only light oil is used as fuel.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
