PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic sealing member, suppressing a rise in part cost, improving the dimensional accuracy, and attaining favorable productivity, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing a magnetic sealing member of an electrophotographic apparatus for preventing leakage of magnetic toner, the magnetic sealing member is functionally formed in two layers, as one of the two layers, a sealing magnetic layer is provided to hold magnetic toner by magnetic force and prevent leakage of toner, and as the other, a magnetic flux converging layer is provided to converge a magnetic flux diverged from the sealing magnetic pole layer and interrupt the magnetic force of one outer surface of the two layers of the magnetic sealing member 2. The method includes a process of injecting raw material composition containing magnetic alloy powder and resin binder in the mixed molten state at 200-300°C into a metal mold by an injection molding machine to form the shape of the magnetic sealing member; and a magnetizing process of magnetizing the molded article so that the maximum magnetic flux density of the magnetic flux converging layer is lower than that of the sealing magnetic pole layer and both layers are opposite in polarity of magnetic pole to thereby form both layers.
