PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stator coil winding method of a rotary electric machine, by which the stator coil of a shape developed in the circumferential direction is readily around each slot of the inner rotor type stator core. SOLUTION: Skew is formed at the slot 91, and then a formed conductor wire 100 is pushed into an inside of a radial direction of the stator core 9, in the same direction as the skewing slot 91. After that, a slot-holding portion 13 of the formed conductor wire 100 is energized to the outside in the radial direction to push into the slot 91. This work is performed, in the order starting from one end side of the formed conductor wire 100 to each slot-holding portion 13 of the formed conductor wire 100, by which the stator coil 10 comprising the formed conductor wire 100 is wound around the stator core 9.
