PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device for an internal combustion engine capable of accurately realizing target torque. SOLUTION: Target throttle opening is calculated based on target torque at time t11 before exhaust stroke. Actual throttle opening is changed to target throttle opening calculated at time t11 in a period from time t12-time t13. Target torque reduces at time t14 in suction stroke after that.
