A piston valve unit of a shock absorber for a vehicle is provided to improve operation stability by maintaining securely mounting state of a single fastening nut. A piston valve unit of a shock absorber for a vehicle comprises a valve body(41) mounted onto a tip axis of a piston rod(20); a rebound disk(43) arranged onto the valve body; a retainer(42) combined with the valve body; a star spring(44) interposed between the retainer and the rebound disk; a flow rate adjusting disk(45) mounted onto a tip axis of the piston rod; a compression ring(66) supporting the flow rate adjusting disk, attached onto the tip axis; a helical spring supported by the compression ring, mounted to surround the tip axis; and a single fixing nut(70) compression the helical spring.
