PROCESS FOR PREPARATION OF METHYL ETHERS OF FATTY ACIDS FROM THE MIXTURE OF ANIMAL AND PLANT FATS

A process for preparation of methyl ethers of fatty acids from the mixture of animal and plant fats comprises liquefaction of animal fat to liquid state mainly at the temperature of evaporation of free water, mixing of liquid animal fat with the solution of methanol and potassium hydroxide and separation of the obtained mixture into methyl ethers of fatty acids and glycerin. The liquid animal fat is mixed with the plant fat and the obtained mixture is mixed with the solution of methanol and potassium hydroxide.
