WEBBING RETRACTOR

A webbing retractor is provided to maintain load exerted on passenger constant by reducing the length of a webbing retracted after a pretensioner mechanism is activated. In a webbing retractor, An inner cover(4) and a plate cover(6) are equipped in one side of a frame(1) of a pretensioner. The pressure of gas of a gas generator is delivered to a power transmission part with a pressure transmission part of a cylinder. A pinion meshed with the power transmission is rotated. A base lock connected to the pinion is rotated and winds webbing. A lock pawl is engaged with the base lock and stalls it in case of over specific acceleration. The lock pawl is installed in an inner cover by a screw(3). A stopper pin(5) breaks a connection part with the lock pawl depending on the activation of a pinion and a power transmission part. The pawl spring(8) pushes the lock pawl of the fractured connection part to a base lock of the lock pawl in case of specific acceleration. The pawl spring is connected to a holder sensor(7).
