A learning contents offering system using an STB(Set-Top Box) embedded with a wireless connection device for checking a visiting learning result in real-time, and a method thereof are provided to double up the learning effect by offering online and offline learning at the same time. An educational institution server(50) provides learning contents through the Internet. An STB(Set-Top Box)(20) is embedded with a wireless connection device. A visiting teacher terminal(10) is equipped with a WLAN(Wireless Local Area Network) module and an STB control program for receiving the learning contents. A display device displays the learning contents received from the STB in a screen. The STB requests the learning contents to the educational institution server by the visiting teacher terminal according to execution of the STB control program, and transmits the received learning contents to the display device or the visiting teacher terminal. |
