摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive semiconductor ring laser gyro having high productivity and stable measurement accuracy, and having less effect on measurement accuracy caused by a disturbance. SOLUTION: In the semiconductor ring laser gyro having a ring resonance structure, a semiconductor laser element whose width of a light emitting domain is ten times or more as wide as an oscillation wavelength or a semiconductor laser element whose aspect ratio of the light emitting domain is 1:10 or more is utilized as an excitation source, and an optical characteristic required for a condensing lens is mitigated, and a tolerance of optical axis accuracy of a reflecting member is secured. Hereby, the inexpensive semiconductor ring laser gyro having high productivity and stable measurement accuracy, and having less effect on measurement accuracy caused by the disturbance can be acquired.
