A heat exchanger is provided to improve defrosting efficiency by reducing a heat exchange capacity of a first gas cooler so as to increase a heat exchange efficiency of an evaporator. A plurality of tubes(121) are disposed in at least one or more lines and form a core together with fins(131), wherein a bypass element(151) is mounted in the proximity of an inlet(111a) of a tank(111) in a connection portion between a bypass path(161) and the tank for selectively moving refrigerant to any one of the bypass path or the tank, or to the both.
