PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector that is not broken when it is detached by directly gripping a plug. SOLUTION: A plug has a slide member 7 movable in parallel with the insertion/extraction direction, and a depressing member 15 for moving the slide member 7. In a state that the plug is connected to a panel-side connector, the tip of the slide member 7 is brought into contact with the end face of the panel-side connector or the end face of a device having the panel-side connector. The slide member 7 is moved in the plug tip direction by depressing the depressing member 15 in the plug center direction perpendicularly to the insertion/extraction direction. Thus, a force is added to a device body in a direction opposite to the insertion/extraction direction so as to reduce a force pulling a plug insertion part on the device-body side in multiple directions. Accordingly, the problem of the breakage or the like of a soldered part when detaching the plug is solved.
