PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing device for a wheel with a rotating speed detection device, capable of securing sealing performance by enhancing air tightness of a fitting part of an outer member and a sensor holder and of preventing rusting on the outer member even if rainwater etc. enters from the fitting part. SOLUTION: The bearing device for the wheel with the rotating speed detection device has the sensor holder 19 internally fitted to an end part of the outer member 5 via an interference, formed of synthetic resin by injection molding and having a rotating speed sensor 28 embedded therein. The sensor holder 19 is formed of non-magnetic synthetic resin filled with predetermined amount of a fibrous reinforcement material. A rust prevention film 30 comprising zinc nickel alloy plating is formed on the fitting face 5c of the outer member 5 and thickness of the film 30 is set in a range of 5-20μm. Thus, this structure can prevent rusting on the outer member 5 even if rainwater etc. enters from the fitting part, and enhance the air tightness to secure fixing force of the sensor holder 19.
