A method of sending Multimedia Broadcast/Multicast Service (MBMS) data packet is provided, which includes: Radio Network Controller (RNC) receiving MBMS data packet, obtaining the null-sending time of MBMS data packet; determining the sending time of the MBMS data packet according to the null-sending time, and sending the MBMS data packet at that time. A device of RNC and core network (CN) is provided, too. Using the present solutions, it makes Universal Mobile Telecommunications System (UMTS) send the MBMS data packet out according to the null-sending time, therefore, it realizes to synchronize UMTS, evolution High Speed Packet Access Plus (HSPA+) network with the MBMS data packet content of Long Term Evolution (LTE) network. |
