<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainless steel bar which can cut a small uneven part even of healthy dentin when necessary and can make the cutting of dentin to be sensed by an operator. <P>SOLUTION: A handle section 11 to be coupled removably with a hand piece is provided on the proximal end side, a working section 12 having an edge for cutting the teeth is provided at the distal end, and a tapered intermediate section 13 is connecting the working section and the handle section. The steel bar is made by performing work hardening of austenite stainless steel through drawing and has a fibrous texture. Since the tapered section flexes to generate vibration when healthy dentin is cut by rotating the working section, cutting of healthy dentin can be recognized and the healthy dentin can be prevented from being cut too much. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
