A single use pressure limiting valve (1) for a gas, particularly adapted for use with carbon dioxide (CO2) in air conditioning systems of automobiles, and of the type comprising a hollow body (3), having a bottom zone (4) close to which a gas outlet (SG) opening (5) is arranged and an open inlet zone (6) receiving the filler element (7), which can be destructed if a certain pressure is reached, provided with at least a gas inlet (EG) opening (8), characterized in that the filler element includes a core (7) having, on the one hand, a fixed base (9) pierced with at least one gas inlet (EG) opening (8), and on the other hand a head piece (10) capable of sliding inside said body (3), beyond the gas outlet (SG) opening (5), during the mechanical rupture of a zone of weakness (11) linking the head piece (10) to the base (9). |
