A slip ring for an electric power generator is provided to greatly reduce fabrication time and cost by decreasing a pouring temperature of an alloy through nonferrous composition during a fabrication process. A slip ring for an electric power generator is made of nickel-chromium steel alloy. The nickel-chromium steel alloy contains Si of 0.1~0.3 wt%, Cr of 0.1~0.2 wt%, Ni of 2.5~3.0 wt% and Cu of remaining amount. Fe is not contained in a composition of the slip ring for an electric power generator. Therefore, the composition of the slip ring is heated at a pouring temperature of 1250~1280 °C during an alloy process. It takes approximately one hour from a solution process to a casting process for the composition of the slip ring. The slip ring for an electric power generator maintains an electrical conductivity of 35~37% and a hardness of 72~82.3 HRB.
