<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately output a tint block image according to environment or conditions. <P>SOLUTION: This image forming device comprises an image forming means to form a tint block image on the surface of a recording medium, a detection means to detect the state of the image forming means, and an adjustment means to adjust the conditions to form the tint block image according to the state of the image forming means detected by the detection means.
