PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new and improved display device ensuring a sense of stability while it is being moved. SOLUTION: The display device 100 has a display unit 102 supported by a pedestal unit 104 that is horizontally movable, wherein the pedestal unit comprises: a support mechanism part 108 provided with an elevating and descending member 120 that approximately vertically supports the display unit and moving the display unit in an approximately vertical direction; a mount base 112 provided with a horizontal moving member 122 that mounts electronic equipment 110 and moves the electronic equipment in an approximately horizontal direction; a base 106 supporting the support mechanism part to stand; and an interlock mechanism part 128 that interlocks the movement of the display unit in an approximately vertical direction by the elevating and descending member to allow the horizontal moving member to move the electronic equipment in an approximately horizontal direction. The interlock mechanism part allows the horizontal moving member to move the electric equipment in an inward direction of the base when the elevating and descending member moves upward the display unit, and also allows the horizontal moving member to move the electronic equipment in an outward direction of the base when the elevating and descending member moves the display unit downward.
