PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite fiber which is composed of a wholly aromatic polyamide and a high purity multi-walled carbon nanotubes and has excellent mechanical characteristics. SOLUTION: The dope for molding comprises an aromatic polyamide containing a unit expressed by formula (I) as a repeating unit and a solvent, wherein the concentration of the polymer is≥5 wt.%.
