<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive high speed motor drive of simple configuration which operates a permanent magnet high speed motor coupled directly with a load machine with high efficiency by generating a high frequency power supply of perfect sinusoidal waveform using a rotary frequency converter, and can operate stably without causing step-out even when the load changes suddenly. <P>SOLUTION: The high speed motor drive including a motor 3 being operated from a commercial power supply 1 or an inverter 9, a multipolar high frequency generator 4 coupled directly and mechanically with the motor, and a permanent magnet high speed motor 7 being operated from a high frequency power supply consisting of this high frequency generator to drive a load machine is further provided with a speed control signal feedback circuit 10 for regulating the field magnetic flux of the high frequency generator by the speed signal of the permanent magnet motor as required in case of load characteristics causing load variation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
