PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric lamp enabled to be manufactured in a strong and simple form, and with a power supply wire surely protected from contacting with danger of electric shocks at breaking of an outer tube. SOLUTION: In the electric lamp 1 equipped with a base at one end, an outer tube 3 mounted on the base 2, at least one integrated lamp 4, preferably, a high-pressure halogen lamp arranged in the outer tube 3, and two power supply wires 9, 9a, 9b from the base 2 to the integrated lamp 4, at least the two power supply wires 9, 9a, 9b are surrounded by a preferably cylindrical tube 6 made of a nonconductive material, and the cylindrical tube 6 is connected, preferably, fusion-bonded to the outer tube 3.
