PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To turn the traveling direction of light without adding a new optical component when single-core bidirectional optical communications are performed, and to prevent crosstalk of transmitted light and received light. SOLUTION: When light is propagated in the single-core bi-direction, an end of the core 1a has: a mirror 1c for turning the received light propagating in the core 1a to a light receiving element 3 side; and a mirror 1d for turning the transmitted light injected from a light emitting element 4 to the side where the light propagates in the core 1a. The end of the core 1a also has a transmission section 1e for transmitting the received light reflected by the mirror 1c, and a transmission section 1g for transmitting the transmitted light injected from the light emitting element 4.
