<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grinding pad which is excellent in durability, and is hard to exfoliate between a substrate layer and a grinding layer. <P>SOLUTION: The grinding pad is obtained by arranging the grinding layer on the substrate layer. The grinding layer is made of a thermosetting polyurethane foam having almost spherical open cells, and self-adheres to the substrate layer. The thermosetting polyurethane foam is composed of a silicon-based surface-active agent containing: a component having a weight-average molecular weight of 1,000 or less, in an amount of 10 wt.% or less, and a component having a weight-average molecular weight of 9,000 or more, in an amount of 30 wt.% or less. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
