PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a driving mechanism capable of displacing an object to be driven more significantly and stably, and further achieving miniaturization and reduction of weight. SOLUTION: The driving mechanism has: a lever member 2 equipped with a displacement output part 2b engaged with a lens unit 1 and a displacement input part 2a receiving input of moving force F1, and rocking by inputting the moving force F1 in the displacement input part 2a so as to move the displacement output part 2b in an optical axis AX direction; and an SMA actuator 3 inputting the moving force F1 in the displacement input part 2a. The lever member 2 has an arm part 21 surrounding a part of the lens unit 1 from the side thereof, and is equipped with the displacement output parts 2b at both ends (edges) of the arm part 21, and is constituted so that the displacement amount of the displacement output part 2b in the optical axis AX direction may be larger than that of the displacement input part 2a by the input of the moving force F1.
