PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor ring laser gyro capable of measuring an angular velocity around two axes by one semiconductor laser. SOLUTION: The semiconductor ring laser gyro 1 includes one semiconductor laser 2 for emitting light from both end faces, distribution means 6, 7 for distributing emitted light from the semiconductor laser 2 in two axes directions, a plurality of reflecting means 8-13 for reflecting light distributed in the two axes directions by the distribution means 6, 7, two photocirculating circuits R1, R2 formed so that light is allowed to circulate on the same plane by the plurality of reflecting means 8-13 and to enter the end face on the opposite side to the emission end face of the semiconductor laser 2, and shielding means 14, 15 for shielding light circulating along either of the two photocirculating circuits R1, R2.
